For veterinary practices

Owners ask whether it’s working. Know how they’re doing.

Signalment turns the joint, regenerative and peptide therapies you already give into an outcome registry. Owners answer a one-minute check-in on their phones every week, your team records the treatment and the rechecks, and the Outcomes tab shows every dog’s course, by week and by therapy. Free for two studies of up to twenty-five dogs each.

Example registry HCV-01 at a fictitious practice: eighteen dogs given PRP, stem cells, peptide therapy or laser over the summer, each followed for twelve weeks. The practice, owners and dogs are made up; every screen is from the product. 2 min 51 s, with captions.

What a practice gets

Every dog, every week, in the owner’s words.

Nothing in the film is a mock-up. It is one registry run in the product from the first patient to the export, on the dates shown.

Ready in an afternoon

Start from the practice template: treatment outcomes over twelve weeks, with forms for the treatment, a weekly owner check-in, and rechecks at four, eight and twelve weeks. Change any question or the schedule; check-ins can be weekly, daily or monthly.

Consent in the exam room

Add the patient, invite the owner by email, and the owner reads and signs the consent on their own phone before they leave. A copy stays in their account.

A minute a week from owners

One question per screen: how the dog got around, any pain, activity, anything new, and a note for the practice. No app to install; the link opens in the phone’s browser.

Heard between rechecks

When an owner answers “Yes, something” or leaves a note, it is listed on the study’s overview, in the owner’s words, the next time anyone at the practice opens it.

Every dog, by week

The Outcomes tab draws every answer by week since treatment: the average, the middle half of the dogs, and each dog’s own line. Pain and other answers show as shares by week.

Split by therapy

See each therapy’s dogs as their own line: PRP, stem cells, IRAP, peptide therapy, laser or shockwave, or your own list. Each dog’s first entry against its latest, at a glance.

Owners see their own line

Each owner sees their own dog’s course on their phone, from the first check-in to the latest. The conversation at the recheck starts from the same picture.

Exports when you want to share

A CSV per form, the subjects and a data dictionary, for a case series, a conference abstract or the practice’s own review. Owners’ names and contact details never leave with an export.

On the record

Every entry gets a receipt; a change needs a reason and keeps the original. Staff roles decide who can enter, check or export.

Who it is for

Practices that see the dogs come back.

Integrative and rehabilitation practices

You already give the therapies and see the dogs back. A registry turns what owners tell you at the door into a record you can look at.

General practices offering joint injections

Follow every dog you inject without adding appointments: owners record at home, and you see who needs a call before the next recheck.

Sports medicine and referral services

Describe your own case series with the outcomes owners report and your recheck findings, then export it for the write-up.

What it costs

A first registry costs nothing.

Priced per workspace, not per study or per patient. Monthly, cancel any time, no setup fees. Compare the plans.

Questions practices ask

Plain answers.

Does this tell me whether a therapy works?

No. A registry records what happened in the dogs you treated. The groups are not assigned at random, so differences between therapies are not the therapies’ effects, and the Outcomes tab says so when you split by therapy. When you want that answer, Signalment also runs randomized, blinded studies.

Do owners need to download an app?

No. The invitation email opens the owner’s side in the phone’s browser, and they can add it to their home screen. They see only their own dog.

Who sees owners’ names?

Your team, in a separate key held apart from the study data. The study record and every export use subject codes.

What does it cost?

The Pilot plan is free for two open studies of up to twenty-five animals each, which covers a first registry. The Practice plan is $149 a month for five studies of up to one hundred animals each. No setup fees; cancel any time.

Is Signalment veterinary advice?

No. Signalment is a data system. Care decisions, consent content and any review your study needs stay with you. The compliance notes explain what applies.
